Our third Gradeable Social featuring an assessment debate was a success. Our three panelists (Alexis Rosenblatt of ANET, Jennifer Spencer of Match Charter High School, and Jonathan Ketchell of Hstry) fielded questions all about high-stakes, low-stakes, and alternative assessments. Q: Some say that high stakes, standardized testing is inaccurate because students are “moving targets,” especially on test days. What is your take on that?

Q: How do you feel about “teaching to the test?” What role does creativity have in the realm of test prep?
